Welcome,

Coming from a family of self-taught artists, I believe that my body carries the gene required to become one. However, to comply with what society demanded of me, a “conventional” lifestyle, I went into the business world and developed my career in that field. Nevertheless, my hyperactive mind never found rest. There was a powerful energy inside of me that I could not translate into numbers, product presentations or estimates. It was then that I discovered that art was the most self-fulfilling way to express my thoughts and emotions.

With my art, I materialize the forms that my mind creates out of feelings, experiences, and observations that inspire me. I create pieces that not only depict, but also propose ideas, moods and emotional states of minds. My medium of preference is metal. Welding and working with fire, heat and acids to subdue and bring life to one of the most inanimate materials in the world is what has made sculpting a fascination for me. However, since there is so much to explore and since I consider myself an artist in constant evolution, sometimes I find it hard to limit myself to a single medium. So, I experiment with many different materials to broaden my creative spectrum.

My main objective is to make my art pieces introduce themselves to the spectators and to tell them a story. So, by the time the person leaves the space they do not leave behind a sculpture, they leave behind an experience.
